Bo Hanson joined Preston & Cleveland Wealth Management as a financial advisor in 2008. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a B.S.F.C.S in Family Financial Planning. While completing his degree, Bo worked with Northwestern Mutual as a financial representative intern specializing in insurance analysis including life, disability, and long-term care insurance. While at UGA, he was an active member of the Student Financial Planning Association.
Bo is also a co-host and producer of the top 25 iTunes podcast, The Money-Guy Show. The Money-Guy Show is a personal finance blog and podcast for individuals who are interested in going beyond common sense and restoring order to their personal financial chaos. Through biweekly episodes available on iTunes, Bo and Brian Preston cover topics ranging from managing a retirement portfolio to clipping coupons to staying on track to reach financial independence.
Bo’s thirst for knowledge combined with his holistic client-centered focus provide a unique blend of competence and compassion that allow him to service clients with investable assets in excess of $500,000. He specializes in the areas of investment management and retirement planning.
In his spare time, Bo enjoys staying active. Whether it be going to the gym for a workout, heading to the golf course, or playing tennis, Bo tries to exercise as much and as often as possible. He loves spending time with his friends and family and appreciates anyone who can make him laugh.
